The GBA Support Services team is a strong unit made up of compassionate individuals dedicated to providing our students with strong mental and physical health counseling on a daily and crisis basis.

Team members have the following qualifications:

• Masters’ of Social Work degrees
• NJ School Social Worker (SSW) certifications
• Licensed Social Workers (LSW), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
• New Jersey Certified School Nurse
• Consulting Psychiatrist (Psy.D.)

Our counseling staff works in conjunction with our students and their families, as well as public social service organizations such as Department of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), NJ Care Management Organization (CMO), and other agencies to support our students and their families.

Green Brook Academy will assist students who struggle with consistent school attendance by going out to their homes and offer counseling services, as needed.
